SPECIALIST ONLINE INTEGRATION THERAPY AND COACHING FOR PSYCHEDELIC EXPERIENCES

I have spent my career in the room where things shift. Integration is what I do with what I find there.

I am a psychotherapist, former nurse, and the founder and Clinical Director of The Emerge Clinic — a ketamine-assisted psychotherapy programme in the UK. I have been present during hundreds of ketamine sessions. I know what happens in that room, what surfaces during the experience, and how much depends on what comes after.

Paul Gibson Integration is how I make that knowledge available to people who received ketamine anywhere in the world.

WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT

I lead the psychotherapy programme at a UK ketamine clinic — and work with people before, during and after the experience.

I did not learn about ketamine-assisted psychotherapy from a training course alone. I built a clinical programme around it. I sit with people before their sessions — helping them prepare, understand what they are entering, and clarify what they are hoping for. I am present during sessions — working with what arises in real time, managing what surfaces, staying alongside the person through the experience. I work with people afterward — in the immediate aftermath, in the weeks that follow, and in the integration that can continue for months.

That is the work I do at The Emerge Clinic. The integration coaching I offer through this site draws directly from that clinical experience. When someone describes their ketamine experience to me, I am not imagining what it might have been like. I have been in that room. I know the territory.

CLINICAL PRACTICE

The Emerge Clinic is where I do the clinical work. This site is where I extend it.

The Emerge Clinic is a UK clinical service regulated by the CQC, offering ketamine-assisted psychotherapy in Norfolk.
Paul Gibson Integration is a separate international coaching practice for people who received ketamine treatment elsewhere.

DIRECT CLINICAL KETAMINE EXPERIENCE

I do not just talk about ketamine integration. I lead the psychotherapy programme at a UK ketamine clinic.

I am the founder and Clinical Director of The Emerge Clinic, a specialist UK ketamine-assisted psychotherapy programme. I work directly with clients across the whole process — preparation before treatment, therapeutic support around the ketamine experience itself, and integration afterward.

That means my understanding of integration does not come from observing the psychedelic field from the outside. It comes from seeing what people actually experience in the room, what can surface unexpectedly, what can feel transformative, what can feel confusing or frightening, and what happens when the effects of the medicine have worn off and ordinary life returns.

Many integration practitioners meet people only after the experience. My clinical work has allowed me to see the whole arc — what someone hoped for beforehand, what actually happened during the session, and what they are left trying to understand afterward.

Current clinical practice

This is ongoing work, not past experience or training alone.

Paul Gibson Integration is where I make that experience available independently to people who received ketamine somewhere else.

You do not need to have been treated at The Emerge Clinic to work with me.

“I know ketamine integration because I see what happens when the medicine is still in the room — and what remains when it is gone.”

WHY INTEGRATION

The medicine opens something.
What happens next determines whether it lasts.

I became focused on integration through observation rather than theory. Over the course of running a ketamine-assisted psychotherapy programme, I noticed that the quality of what followed a session shaped its effect at least as much as the session itself. People who had profound experiences sometimes found them fade quickly. People who had difficult or confusing experiences sometimes found the most useful material living precisely in that difficulty — if they had space to explore it properly.

Integration is not a supplement to the ketamine experience. It is where the experience becomes useful. That is what I am here to provide.

MY APPROACH

Curious, careful, and focused on the person rather than the medicine.

I start with what happened.

Not what it should have meant, or what it typically means, or what the research suggests. What actually happened for you, in your body, in your experience, in the days that followed. That is the material we work with.

I do not bring a framework.

I have clinical training in multiple modalities and I draw on all of them. What I do not do is apply a predetermined model to your experience. The experience belongs to you. My role is to help you understand it, not to interpret it for you.

I work at whatever pace the material requires.

Some integration is quick. Some takes months. Some questions from a significant experience do not resolve — they deepen. I work at the pace that fits what emerged, not at the pace of a standard coaching programme.

“I am interested in what the experience means to you.
Not in making your experience fit a belief I already hold.”

READY WHEN YOU ARE

The right support should feel experienced, clear and human.

If you are trying to make sense of a ketamine or psychedelic experience and want to speak with someone who understands both the clinical setting and the psychological work that follows, you are welcome to get in touch.

You do not need to arrive with a polished explanation.
We can begin with what happened and what feels unfinished.
