SPECIALIST ONLINE INTEGRATION THERAPY AND COACHING FOR PSYCHEDELIC EXPERIENCES

KETAMINE INTEGRATION COACHING

Ketamine may open the door. Integration helps you understand what follows.

Specialist online ketamine integration coaching to help you understand what emerged and use it in support of the changes you want to make in your life.

The ketamine experience may be over. The opportunity to use what emerged is only beginning.

The treatment may be complete. The experience may still be unfolding.

Ketamine can create meaningful shifts. Integration helps you make sense of what happened and consider what comes next.

Support is available at every stage.

Before treatment

Preparing, setting intentions and building support.

During the experience

The session or course and what arises within.

Immediately afterward

First reflections. Integration begins in daily life.

In the days and weeks that follow

Patterns emerge, questions arise and direction forms.

YOUR TREATMENT TYPE

The same medicine. Very different experiences.

Ketamine is administered in several different ways, each with its own context, duration and level of psychological support. The integration needs that follow are not always the same. Understanding what type of experience you had can help us work more precisely with what it brought up.

IV INFUSION — CLINIC WITHOUT PSYCHOTHERAPY

The experience without the container.

Many people receive IV ketamine at a clinic focused primarily on symptom relief, without a psychotherapist present or follow-up integration support. The experience can be powerful, confusing or emotionally significant and then you are sent home. Integration coaching addresses what the clinic did not: what happened, what it meant, and where to take it.

INTRAMUSCULAR — KAP WITH A THERAPIST

The most supported form of the experience.

Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy involves a trained therapist present throughout the session, working with what arises in real time. Even so, the material that surfaces often continues to unfold after the session ends. Integration coaching complements your existing KAP work or provides continuity if your programme has ended.

AT-HOME PRESCRIPTION — LOZENGES OR TROCHES

Significant experiences, often with limited integration support.

At-home ketamine programmes can produce genuinely profound experiences, sometimes more intense than expected, in a domestic setting without clinical oversight or psychological support. People often have no one to speak to about what arose. Integration coaching provides that space.

SPRAVATO — NASAL ESKETAMINE

Clinical monitoring with limited integration support.

Spravato sessions take place in a clinical setting and are monitored for safety, but the focus is pharmacological rather than psychological. The dissociative experience it produces can surface unexpected material that the clinical team is not positioned to explore. Integration coaching addresses the psychological dimension that Spravato treatment does not.

Whatever the route, if something significant arose, it is worth understanding.

THE INTEGRATION PROCESS

A grounded process for working with the experience.

Every ketamine experience is different, so there is no fixed formula for integration. We slow things down, identify what stood out, connect it to the life you’re living now, and decide what is actually worth carrying forward.

We move through these stages together, at whatever pace feels right. Some people move through all four in a single focused session; others need longer with each one.

01

Reconstruct and understand

We look at what happened, what you remember and what felt important, building as clear a picture as the experience allows.

02

Connect the experience with the wider life

We explore how it relates to your patterns, relationships, choices and what you want to change.

03

Discover what is useful

We identify what feels true, helpful and worth keeping, without forcing meaning onto the experience.

04

Carry it forward

We turn insight into practical changes, boundaries, decisions or ways of living that feel right for you.

Integration is not a race. We move at the pace that helps the experience become useful to you.

There is no single correct ketamine experience.

Profound or meaningful

Insight, connection, emotion or a sense that something important happened.

Difficult or frightening

Overwhelming emotions, fear, confusion or experiences that are hard to understand.

Fragmented or hard to remember

Disconnected moments, partial memories or an experience that is difficult to piece together.

Subtle or apparently uneventful

Little seemed to happen at the time, but you may still notice changes afterwards.

All of these experiences are valid, and all of them can be explored.

What happens afterward can be difficult to name.

Insights that fade or feel hard to hold.

Emotional openness or sudden sensitivity.

Unexpected memories or images.

Questions about identity or life direction.

Shifts in relationships or how you connect with others.

Old patterns or emotions that still feel unfinished.

Disappointment or a sense that something is missing.

Confusion that persists over time.

Urgency to make major changes.

Not everything needs an immediate answer.

Some things become clearer with time, reflection and the right support.

AFTER THE SESSION

Ketamine does not just open the mind. It temporarily lowers the walls around it.

“In the hours and days after a ketamine experience, many people find themselves in a state of unusual emotional openness — raw, unguarded, and closer to the surface than they are used to being.”

After ketamine, some people notice a period of greater emotional openness. Familiar defences can feel quieter, thoughts may be less fixed, and feelings or memories that normally sit further in the background can sometimes feel much closer.

For some, that feels freeing: a sense of relief, possibility or connection. For others it can feel unfamiliar, vulnerable or difficult to understand. Old memories may return. Relationships can look different. Something that felt obvious during the experience may become harder to grasp once ordinary life begins to return.

This period can last hours, days or sometimes longer. It does not need to be rushed or forced into an explanation. Often, the most useful thing is simply to slow down, notice what has stayed with you and begin to understand what, if anything, deserves your attention.

That is where integration can help: giving you a place to understand what emerged, connect it with your life and decide what you want to carry forward.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Your treatment does not need to have taken place at Emerge Clinic for us to work together.

Yes. Integration coaching is independent of where or how the ketamine experience took place.

A subtle or apparently uneventful experience is still valid to explore—meaning can continue to unfold afterward.

I won’t interpret your experience for you. Instead, we explore it together so what’s useful becomes clearer to you.

No. This is coaching support only—I do not prescribe, administer or supervise ketamine treatment.

This is specialist coaching, not psychotherapy across jurisdictions. If clinical or therapeutic care is needed, I can help you find the right service.
